Fountain Hills senior Madison George set the Division 3 state girls pole vault record with a 13-foot clearance (3.96m) on her third attempt at the Arizona AIA Outdoor State Championships at Mesa Community College. George became the eighth female athlete in state history to clear 13 feet outdoors, including the third this season. George also advanced to the finals in the 100 and 200 meters, clocking 12.96 and 26.80 seconds, respectively.
